Hostels is some kind of accommodationin which another's people, travellers, live in one room.
Absolutely normal situation if a room mixed, that is women and men spend the night in one room. However, practical hostels in which I stopped, rooms with separate settlement – separately for boys and for girls had all also. In big hostelah there are also rooms for two and even on one person. Quantity of berths in a room in hostele usually from 4 to 8.

In these institutions works very friendly and usually young, as you, the personnel which besides speaks English without fail since in hostels visitors from the every possible countries stop. Therefore English language – unique which helps in hostels with Europe to visitors and owners to understand each other.
And what in hostels with conveniences? In hostels souls are either in a room, or on a floor – for all visitors some per capita booths. Or one shower on some rooms. The same concerns a toilet. Besides, usually in hostel there is a kitchen with all household appliances: it is possible to store products in a refrigerator, and in a microwave – to warm up half-finished products. Still it is necessary to know that in hostels the breakfast, the truth, for an additional payment quite cheap.
Certainly, the stop for the night in hostel in Europe can be connected with some inconveniences: for example, neighbours will snore or will come home deeply for a midnight from a party and will wake everything, being put to bed, or someone from them will need to get up early to be in time in the airport, and again all will wake up, or... Yes the weight of other unexpected inconveniences can happens in the big room. Certainly, the price compensates many inconveniences for such shelter.
